Jeju Island
Diving on Jeju Island
Although diving in South Korea might not be your first thought, this is actually a soft coral paradise! Diving centers are located in quite a few places in Seogwipo, on the south side of the Island. So I suggest going there once arrived in Jeju City.

Diving is best between March - September but can be done all year round.

I had a great time diving with Big Blu33 Diving, visit them here!
The Island
Jeju Island is very popular among South Koreans, and for good reason! The island is easily traversible by bus, car, or scooter and divided mostly in Jeju City in the north en Seogwipo in the south.

There are many smaller towns and resorts in between you could also stay.
Why go there?
Why not go to the place South Koreans spend their holiday? The town of Seogwipo is a beautiful place, with many bars, restaurants, and waterfalls to be admired while eating seafood on the beach.

The diving scene is different and off-grid and you'll be able to make your fellow diving buddies jealous!
How to get there?
You can reach Jeju Island by airplane from Seoul (1 hour) or Busan(less than an hour).
alternatively, you could also book a ferry from Busan in the south.

All entries to the island will arrive in Jeju City in the north. And buses go from Jeju City around the island so it's an easy journey to get to Seogwipo!
