When to go?


The best time to dive in Kota Kinabalu is during the dry season, from March to October. During these months, the waters are calm and visibility is at its peak, often reaching up to 30 meters.


The weather is sunny and warm, making it perfect for diving adventures. However, Kota Kinabalu’s tropical climate means that diving is possible year-round, so don't let the rainy season deter you!

Who & How to go there?


Getting to Kota Kinabalu is easy. The city is well-connected by air, with Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) offering direct flights from major cities across Asia.


Once you arrive, the marine park's dive sites are easily accessible by boat from Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal, located in the heart of the city.


Most dive operators provide convenient transport to and from the terminal, ensuring a hassle-free dive trip.


For those new to scuba diving, Kota Kinabalu offers excellent training facilities with professional dive schools that provide courses ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
